Who We Are
J. A. Cissel Mfg. Co. began developing new
markets for knitted monofilament netting and fabrics in 1968. The first
customer were fruit growers who protected their crop from bird damage with
"TORON" netting. In 1970, we started fabricating tennis court
windscreens. From these beginnnings, many new and innovative product ideas
have been created for sports and recreation, conservation and industry.
Today, we are still innovating. Our line of COURTMASTER tennis court
equipment is the most complete of any supplier, anywhere. Our outdoor
netting products are the perfect solution to a variety of problems from
protecting game birds and fish from predators to protecting people from
errant golf balls. Our products are better known than the company name.
COURTMASTER tennis nets; MASTERSHADE shade and windscreens; ROYALE tennis
net posts; TOPRITE, TORON, AQUANET, and ON COURSE netting; FENCE-ALL,
QUIK FENCE, and SPORT FENCE. These and many more products are produced
at our modern plant in Lakewood N.J.
In addition to our own product line, we provide a number of specific
manufacturing skills available to other companies with products to sell
but who lack the facilities, equipment, skilled labor or inclination to
make their own products. As a contract manufacturer, we assist new, small
businesses and large companies by complimenting their capabilites or supplementing
their production. Our forty employees bring many years of experience and
craftmanship to a business that is proud of the quality we design and
build into every product, as well as the personal service we enjoy giving
